Introduction

Sunfire Castle has withstood generations of disaster and war. Even now, it remains a mighty bulwark against the Great Chill that threatens the world. Many believe in the legend of “Cthugha’s Heart”. It is a gigantic crystal of fire buried deep underneath the castle, and once its powers are awakened, the world shall know hope again. The castle is the ultimate prize of this State, whoever controls it shall preside over this frozen land!

  1. Event Details

    • Frequency and Duration :
      • Takes place once every two weeks.
      • Lasts for 6 hours.
  • Victory Conditions :
    • The Alliance that holds the Sunfire Castle for 3 consecutive hours wins.
    • If no Alliance holds it for 3 consecutive hours, the Alliance that held it the longest wins.

Strategic Point

  • Turret Control :
    • The longer you control the turret, the stronger its attack becomes, posing a greater threat to Sunfire Castle defenders.

Leadership and Appointments

  • Winning Alliance Leadership :
    • The leader of the winning alliance can appoint any alliance member as President within the first 10 hours.
    • If no appointment is made, the Alliance Leader becomes President.
    • If the previous President is a member of the winning alliance, they will be re-elected automatically.

Preparation and Teleportation

  • City Teleportation :
    • All Cities within the Sunfire Castle Alert Zone are randomly Teleported 2 hours before the event.
    • To join the battle, you can Teleport your city to the Alert Zone or attack from outside the Alert Zone from 1 hour before the event until it ends.
    • Teleporting to the Alert Zone deactivates any active Shield, which cannot be reactivated.

During SvS :

  • The battle will take place on the server that lost the preparation phase, and depending on the winner, you will have a president or not:
    • Win no phase : No president and the server opposite will have a supreme president
    • Win one phase : Both servers will have a normal president and no influence between the two servers will be available after the end of the SvS

The Castle Battle

Strategy

When attacking the sunfire castle, each person can only send one march at a time, so it is essential to have a good strategy to be able to win, even if the opponent is stronger, strategy and numbers can put an end to it :
  • During the sunfire, the turrets will continue to hit the castle if it is not from the same alliance as the one occupying the castle or on the same server during the SvS, so there must be a sufficient amount of infantry otherwise the turrets will eliminate them first, and even with better stats, a castle without infantry is lost in advance.
  • To dethrone a stronger person from the castle, there are several techniques, one of them is the double rally, it consists of sending two rallies of almost equivalent power (the weakest first) to send them and that they arrive on the castle almost at the same time. The first must therefore succeed in destroying the most opposing infantry before the arrival of the second rally.
  • This technique is very effective because the opponent will have a lot of trouble reinforcing the castle between the two rallies if they are well executed
    Note :
    In addition to the good ratio of troops, rally leader heroes and rally joiners, it is necessary to have the good troop tiers and to think about the future, because if the rally arrives in the castle, the rally joiners and the rally leader should have the defensive version to resist the offensive ones.

    REWARDS

    Ranking Reward :

    (During SvS and normal sunfire castle, only your server is in)

    Points Rewards :

    The number of points required and the number of rewards depending on the age of your server and the level of your boiler (F30- or F30+)
    For example on Gen6 and 7 servers with an F30+, there were 8 charm design and 45 guide per level

    List of Grants :

    • General’s Commendation : 1/1 – Supreme President : 2/2
    • Officer’s Commendation : 5/5 – Supreme President : 10/10
    • Soldier’s Commendation : 30/30 – Supreme President : 50/50
    Grants can also be awarded to the opposing server if you have the supreme president
    Only the president can award Grants

    During the castle battle, there are 3 ways to obtain points :

    • Carnage Points : obtained by defeating enemies in the fight for Sunfire Castle and Turrets
    • Occupation Points : determined by your Troop’s power when occupying the Sunfire Castle or Turrets.
    • Casualty Points : Awarded based on your Severely Injured or lost Troops.

    Most of the time, you will gain the majority of your points by injuring your troops, one of the most effective techniques is to attack solo or in rally an enemy turret in a loop while healing your troops with a known technique, batch healing :

    It consists of healing your troops in small quantities to take advantage of allies' aid, the more players connected, the more you can do it in large chunks to go faster. This technique is very effective but also very costly in resources to heal your troops, it is therefore important to set a point objective or a limit if this technique is very effective in your alliance

    The President and the Appointments

      Here are some questions you might ask :

      1. When you lose your SvS and the Transfer is approaching, the former president will manage the invitations
      2. Only supreme presidents can use their powers on the opposing server after the end of the SvS
      3. A President can change alliances but cannot transfer
      • The player also has some rewards for becoming president :

      Two skins of 14 days, which is equivalent to the duration of a presidency

      • Eligibility:
        • Chiefs with a Level 16 or higher Furnace can apply for a position.
        • Each Chief can only apply for one position at a time.
        • Chiefs currently holding a position cannot apply for another.
      • Application Process:
        • Applications are valid for 24 hours.
        • Only 100 active applications per position. Once full, no more are accepted.
        • After applying, the President or Minister of the Interior may approve you for the reservation list.
      • Reservation List:
        • Chiefs on the reservation list take office based on queue order and appointment time.
        • Chiefs on the list enjoy all related position perks.
        • Position reservations are valid for the current presidential term and reset at the start of the next Castle Battle session.

  1. Vice President : +10% Research Speed, Construction Speed and Training Speed / Boosted Version : +15%
  2. Minister of Interior : +80% Resource Production Speed, The power to appoint and remove offcials in the President’s place. / Boosted Version : +120%
  3. Minister of Health : +100% Healing Speed , +5000 Infirmary Capacity / Boosted Version : +150%, +7500
  4. Minister of Defense : +10% Troop’s Lethality / Boosted Version : +15%
  5. Minister of Strategy : +5% Troop’s Attack, +2500 Deployment Capacity / Boosted Version : +8%, +3750
  6. Minister of Education : + 50% Training Speed, +200 Training Capacity / Boosted Version : +75%, +300

The first row are the presidential boosts that will affect all players in the state

And with the possibility of sending them also to the losing state of the SvS if you have a supreme president :
